Pro Tip #1: Timing is Everything Take your Levothyroxine with a full glass of water, at least 30 minutes to an hour before food or your beloved morning coffee. Soy lovers, heads up: give your thyroid a break by waiting four hours before having anything soy-based, like a latte or tofu scramble. I learned this the hard way after struggling with weight gain and headaches for months. Once I stretched out that coffee wait time to an hour, I started seeing the difference. - Healthy Fats: Omega-3-rich foods like salmon and chia seeds are fantastic for managing inflammation.
